Businessman and car enthusiast Ian King, husband of model and TV host Joey Mead, came out as a transgender woman.
On Saturday, King shocked the netizens on Instagram with text that reads “Sometimes the King is a Woman.” She is now using the name Angelina Mead King under the new Instagram handle @hailtothe_queen_. Her previous handle was @hailtothe_king_.
Angelina also shared her photo with Joey where she called her “rock and number one supporter.”
Meanwhile, many celebrities took to social media to show their support for Angelina, including her brother Atticus.
Joey and King are still in good terms. In fact, she posted a photo holding her wife’s hand during her brother’s birthday. They got married in November 2011.
