Filipino singer, who called himself Miss Powers, impressed the three judges with his version of “It’s A Man’s World” by James Brown on Monday episode of The X Factor Australia 2016.
The 33-year-old singer from the Philippines is currently teaching Yoga and ballroom dance in Sydney, Australia. During the interview, Miss Powers said she’s not a man or a woman.
Judge Adam Lambert was surprised. He said he loved the drop split at the first note and he was truly entertained.
Iggy Azalea said that this was the most entertained she’s been all day, and not in a gimmicky way while Guy Sebastian said it was the best opening to any audition he’s ever seen.
Miss Powers is moving to the next round of the competition after receiving three nods from the judges.
