Noven Belleza, a rice farmer from Negros Occidental, rendered his emotional version of “Kahit Ako’y Lupa” by Basil Valdez during the third semifinal rounds of It’s Showtime’s singing competition “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” on Saturday, October 9, 2016.
Belleza brought everyone to tears with his soaring rendition of the song. “Your performance today is the most heartfelt I’ve heard from you,” said judge Yeng Constantino.
“You remind me to be kind, humble and to look always to God,” Constantino added.
Belleza’s performance during the results day of the competition earned him the highest votes from the judges and text votes with 96.6 percent.
He was joined by Eumee Capile, an aspiring professional singer from Bulacan, in the final rounds of the “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” to be held early next year.
