Senatorial aspirant and Sarangani Congressman Manny Pacquiao expressed his disapproval on the issue of same-sex marriage.
In an interview with Bilang Pilipino, he was asked about his stand on same-sex marriage.
He said: Woman was made for man, man was made for woman.”
Pacquiao went on to explain: It’s common sense. Will you see any animals where male is to male and female is to female? The animals are better. They know how to distinguish, male or female.”
In addition: If we approve male on male, female on female, then man is worse than animal.”
Meanwhile, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton called out Pacquiao over his views on the issue. He described Pacquiao’s views as ‘barbaric.’
“The comments he made (on same-sex marriage) are horrific and damaging, to say the least,” Hilton said in an article published on his website.
