Watch: Teen Cancer Survivor Calysta Bevier Sings ‘Fight Song,’ Gets Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent 2016


Calysta Bevier earned a golden buzzer from Simon Cowell on America’s Got Talent 2016 audition on Tuesday, June 21.

The 16-year-old cancer survivor from Ohio goal is to win America’s Got Talent. She performed her own rendition of “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten, which she effortlessly made her own.

“I love everything about you. I just have this feeling when you walk in. Just your spirit, your song choice, your voice. I think you are something special. I predict something great gonna happen for you,” said Simon Cowell before hitting the golden buzzer.

Just a year ago she was undergoing chemotherapy for stage 3 ovarian cancer. She cried when she lost her hair. On August 28th, the doctors told her she was in remission.
