Ryan Rems Sarita also known as “Mr. Rock and Roll to the World” has been named winner of “Funny One,” ‘ a comedian talent search on ABS-CBN’s noontime show ”It’s Showtime.”
The 36-year-old English teacher from Novaliches beat out other finalists during the grand final episode of the show on Saturday, August 8, 2015.
Ryan became popular on social media for his brand of non-sequitur humor and newest set of jokes.
First runner-up was awarded to father and son tandem “Crazy Duo” while the second runner-up was awarded to Nonong Balinan. No Direction placed third and fourth runner-up was Gibis.
Ryan took home 1 Million pesos for winning the competition. Judges were Herbert Bautista, Joey Marquez, Frasco Mortiz, Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta.
