Teresa Hernandez, the mother of Angelica Jane Yap, also known as Patillas girl, appeared on Tuesday’s episode of ABS-CBN noontime show It’s Showtime to defend her daughter against bashers.
Her appearance came after a letter from women’s group Gabriela asking the MTRCB to investigate reports that the show is exploiting “Pastillas Girl” to various interested men.
‘Mommy Pastillas’ said she was hurt by the negative comments including the ‘bugaw’ issue. She assured the public that her daughter is not being pimped out, saying she could never do that to one of her own.
She also asked to public to know her daughter first before bashing her.
