Melbourne teen Georgia Denton and Jimmy Davis were eliminated from The X Factor Australia during the double elimination night on Tuesday, October 13.
“I just want to thank everybody, Dannii especially,” Denton said. “I’m so grateful to have gotten this far. I didn’t think I would make it past my first audition.”
Meanwhile, Davis dedicated his final performance to his mother and biggest supporter Robyn. “If you’re coming into the this thing as an independent artist try to stay true to who you are,” Davis said.
Davis was mentored by judge Chris Isaak. “I’m just hoping that when jimmy is playing arenas that he will remember me and that I was your friend and mentor and I hope we get to play together,” Isaak said.
The remaining contestants of the competition will be back next week for another live performances and one will be sent home the following day.
