Jordan Smith was crowned the new winner of NBC’s television singing competition ‘The Voice.’
The announcement was revealed on Tuesday in a star-studded season finale that featured performances by Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Missy Elliott, Sam Hunt and The Weeknd.
Jordan beat out rivals Emily Ann Roberts, Barrett Baber and Jeffrey Austin to win the 9th season of the television singing contest after a series of stunning vocal performances last night.
Jordan hit all his marks on Monday night’s performance finale, with his own version of “Climb Every Mountain” from Sound of Music, a duet with his coach Adam Levine “God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys and “Mary Did You Know” by Mark Lowry.
Meanwhile, Team Blake Shelton Emily Ann Roberts placed second, also from Team Blake Shelton Barrett Baber placed third, and Team Gwen Stefani Jeffery Austin in fourth place.
