Christy Lagapa from Davao City and Mica Becerro from Surigao Del Norte wowed the audience and coaches for their performance on The Voice Teens Philippines “The Battles.”
In an episode aired Sunday, June 11, Mica and Christy from Team Lea performed their version of Beyonce’s version of “Ave Maria.”

“For me, Mica is the winner for this battle,” said Sarah Geronimo. “I’ll go with Mica,” added Bamboo Manalac.
“Beautifully sang by you both. Also go with Mica,” Sharon Cuneta said.
“Christy, it’s clean. Both of you sang perfectly. If id pick the winner, the other deserves to stay,” said Lea Salonga, who also picked Mica as the winner.
Meanwhile, the three coaches tried to steal Christy. She eventually joined team Sharon.
The Battles” is the next stage of the competition. This is where a coach will build from his or her team pairs of 2 and will be given a single song to sing together.
The winner will advance to the next round, which is the ‘Knockouts,’ while the artist who lost the battle will be eliminated.
The Voice Teens Philippines is hosted by Luis Manzano and Toni Gonzaga which airs on ABS-CBN every Saturday and Sunday.
