Indie actor Kiko Matos ended rumors that he received large amount of money for URCC match, which ended in a unanimous draw with fellow actor Baron Geisler over the weekend.

In an interview with “Tonight with Boy Abunda,” Matos denied speculations that he received P100,000 to fight Geisler. He did not reveal the exact figures he earned but revealed the amount of money that a starter and known fighters for every fight.
According to Matos, a starting fighter would receive P10,000 to P15,000 per fight while well-known fighters get as much as P50,000 to P80,000.
At the end of the interview, Abunda asked him what was his reason to fight Geisler inside the MMA cage, he said he wanted to prove to people that there are more important issues than his duel against Geisler.
