Pinoy singer Cyrus Villanueva has made it to The X Factor Australia 2015 Top 7. The result was revealed during the fourth elimination rounds of the competition on Tuesday, October 20.
The 19-year-old contestant from Wollongong, New South Wales, survived another elimination despite being panned for his “worst” ever on the reality talent show on Monday.
Judge James Blunt labeled his performance the “worst performance” he’d seen from Cyrus. “That was just a terrible song,” he said. “Chris Isaak I would have to say to you there’s never ever going to be a moment for Cyrus to shine in that song.”
Meanwhile, judge Dannii Minogue also agreed it wasn’t Cyrus best week, but noted they need him in to stay in the competition.
Next week, Cyrus will return on the show for another exciting live performance with the remaining contestants of The X Factor Australia! Last night In Stereo was eliminated from the show.
