The inauguration of Rodrigo Duterte, 16th President of the Philippines, will be held live on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the Rizal Ceremonial Hall of the Malacañang Palace in Manila.
The Philippines historic event will be attended by 627 selected individuals, which includes ambassadors, incoming Cabinet members and the chief executive’s family members.
As announced, Duterte is expected to arrive in Malacañang at 10:30 a.m. He will have a brief meeeting with outgoing President Benigno Aquino III at the President’s Hall Sala until 11 a.m.
At 11:45 a.m., Duterte will take his oath of office to be administered by Supreme Court Associate Justice Bienvenido Reyes. At 1 p.m., Duterte will be given full military honors.
