The first ever winner of “Asia’s Next Top Model” has been named during the finale aired Sunday.
Jessica Amornkuldilok, 27 years old, from Thailand won the coveted title. She beat two other finalists, Stephanie Retuya of the Philippines and Kate Ma of Taiwan.
Stephanie Retuya, 23, from Laguna, Philippines, is one of the Top 3 contestants who made it to the finals of the Asia-Pacific reality show “Asia’s Next Top Model.”
‘Lolong,’ the world’s largest crocodile in captivity, died at around 8pm on Sunday. There’s no immediate details as to what caused Lolong’s death but Agusan del Sur Mayor Edwin Elorde confirmed Lolong was found dead inside his pen.
Chinese New Year marks the start of the lunar year according to the calendar that follows the cycles of the moon.
The lunar calendar starts on February 10, 2013, which is the beginning of the Year of the Snake and ends on January 30, 2014 which is the start of the Year of the Wooden Horse.

Philippine representative Rizzini Alexis Gomez was crowned winner of Miss Tourism International 2012 held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on December 31, 2012.
The 22-year-old Gomez of Cebu City bested other 54 lovely candidates from all over the world. She’s the second Filipina to win the Malaysian-based pageant. Maria Esperanza Manzano first won the pageant in 2000.
