Resident psychologist, Dr. Randy Dellosa, of the current season of “Pinoy Big Brother” explained the controversial behavior of Filipino-British housemate Bailey Thomas May on Thursday.Speaking on “Aquino & Abunda Tonight,”
Dellosa talked about Bailey’s infatuation for fellow housemate Barbie Imperial, and his alleged “bromance” with Kenzo Gutierrez.
He said the parents should not be scared about their son’s behavior because: “He’s a boy turning into a man. This is coming of age for Bailey. I think this is natural. It’s infatuation. It’s purely emotional.”
Rellosa went on to explain the closeness of Bailey and Kenzo. He said “Bromance” come’s from the word “Bro (Brother) and “Mance (Romance).”
“It doesn’t mean it’s romantic or sexual, it’s actually “deep friendship.” It’s called for guys a “man crush.” Abunda asked if bros hold hands, Dellosa said yes because Bailey is a kid and both of them are “unico hijo (only boy).”
Last June 24, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has summoned the people behind the show over negative feedback.
The reason was not mentioned on the letter but netizens are speculating that MTRCB was summoned following Bailey and Kenzon alleged bromance.
The conference is set on July 9 at the MTRCB office.
