After his performance, the comedic magician received mixed reactions from the viewers as well as from the judges of the show. Netizens called it “cheap trick” while some said he just wasted the golden buzzer because of his lousy performance tonight.
Heidi Klum said she didn’t enjoy having the dog captured in this box all the time. “I didn’t love it this time,” she said.
“I do think that you took a bit of a risk. It worked kind of half a bit,” said Mel B. “It is a great trick. The magic was amazing and the character is amazing. I think you did great,” said Howie Mandel.
Howard Stern said he’s a great fan but admitted not his strongest performance. “He is a comedian as well but I think this guy is the real deal. That was a good magic trick,” he added.
