‘Kwek Kwek Girl,’ also Precious Gem Naval Layug in real life, went viral after her photo was posted via Facebook page Rapsey yesterday.
Like Jeyrick Sigmaton, popularly known as ‘Carrot Man,’ Precious is a hardworking young lady who sells kwek kwek to earn for a living and support her family as well.

Kwek-kwek (or Kwekwek) is a popular street food sold along the streets of Manila and many other places in the Philippines. It is made up of hard-boiled quail eggs individually wrapped in orange-tinted batter, which are then fried until golden brown.
