Sheena Belarmino successfully defended her title on Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids on Saturday, March 25, 2017.
The young Cebuana singer is the second contestant to enter the semifinal rounds of the competition after Jhon Clyd Calili from Surigao del Sur.
Belarmino defeated three other contestants including King Gabriel Hernandez from Luzon, Khim John Natimdin from Mindanao and Metro Manila contender Danica “Bilog” Tiongson, who became popular for her trending video with her brother “Budak.”
Belarmino received a total score of 96.6 percent from the judges and took home P125,000 cash prize for her 5-day reign as champion.
On Monday, four contestants will compete for the next daily winner and defending champion of Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids.
