Batangas teen singer Pauline Agupitan wowed the audience with her performance on Tawag Ng Tanghalan Grand Finals ‘Huling Tapatan’ Day 3.
In an episode aired Wednesday (March (8), all contestants including Agupitan performed an upbeat song.
For the first time, she performed Tina Turner’s “Proud Mary” which earned her a standing ovation from the four judges except for Karla Estrada.

One of the judges, Billy Crawford, that she deserved to win and be one of the Top 5 singers in the grand finals.
Unfortunately, Agupitan failed to win the title but she will return on Friday together with Rachel Gabreza and Maricel Callo.
Meanwhile, blind singer Carlmalone Montecido from Montecido earned the third spot. He received a total number of 91.40 percent from the text and judges votes for his “Estudyante Blues” performance.
