Zamboanga’s representative Bellatrix Tan answer to Miss Philippines Earth 2016 has gone viral!

During the Q&A portion of the Top 12 contestants of the beauty pageant, Tan was asked to elaborate her answer about El Niño La Niña.
She answered, “El Niño is what we are experiencing now. If we do simple things like planting trees then we will not be experiencing drought, right? So if we start now, we will achieve La Niña!”
The video uploaded by a certain Eddie Fernandez on Facebook has already earned 1.8 million hits as of posting time.
Tan didn’t get any crown from last night’s coronation held at the UP Theater in Diliman, but her name was one of the trending topics on Twitter because of her answer.
