Blind singer from Bacolod City, Carl Malone Montecido, remains the defending champion of It’s Showtime singing competition “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” on Tuesday, November 1, 2016.
During the final rounds of the competition, Montecido sang his rendition of Marco Sison’s “My Love Will See You Through,” while daily round winner Ken Mariscal performed Ogie Alcasid’s “Ikaw Sana.”

After the judges deliberation, hosts Jugs Jugueta, Kim Chiu and Robi Domingo revealed that Montecido garnered a total average score of 94.6 percent for his performance, while daily winner Mariscal received 91.6 percent.
Montecido will be back to “It’s Showtime” stage on Wednesday to try to get his fourth win.
