Jennie Gabriel, who impersonates actress Angel Locsin, from Metro Manila is the new “Tawag ng Tanghalan” champion.
Gabriel wowed the judges and the audience of “It’s Showtime” with her version of “The Greatest Love Of All” on Tuesday’s episode of the show.
The comedy bar singer defeated three-day champion Ronald Rosalita with her rendition of “Halik” by Aegis.
Gabriel received a total score of 93.8 percent against Rosalita, who got 93.6 percent for his performance of “I Who Have Nothing” by Tom Jones.
The “Sis-pectacular Songstress” will be back on Wednesday to defend her title.
