Based from the former segment of the show, “Wil Time! Bigtime!,” where the 6-year-old Jan-Jan Suan competed with five other contestants, aged 6 to 11.
“Willing Willie” went off the air on April 9 as a result of protests from viewers, government agencies and rights advocate groups, who all claimed a young contestant was “abused” after he was made to perform a “macho dance” on its March 12 episode, reports Inquirer.
Catch “Wil Time Bigtime” premieres on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 5 p.m. and weeknights at 6:30 p.m. on TV5. Hosted by Willie Revillame and Valenzuela Councilor Shalani Soledad.

Controversial TV host Willie Revillame is set to return on Philippine television as well as his brand new show “Willing Willie.” The news was confirmed by Cristy Fermin on her entertainment show “The Paparazzi.”
According to Fermin, Willie has already talked to TV5 executives about the big changes and the return of the show on May 7, 2011 (Saturday).
The network was previously advised by the MTRCB to reformat the show to avoid incident like the “Jan-Jan” episode.
Aside from the new games and segments, TV5 has also made major technical changes including the reported first LED dance floor on Philippine television show.
On Wednesday, April 27, DSWD Secretary Dinky Soliman has formally sued Willie for violating the Republic Act No. 7610, or the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act at the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
He could face 6-12 years imprisonment if found guilty.
Controversial TV host Willie Revillame changed his mind and will no longer sue celebrities who attacked him on Twitter, said Revillame during a radio interview.
On Friday (April 15), Willie was asked by radio hosts Mon Tulfo and Reysie Amado over dzIQ (Radyo Inquirer) if he’s going to pursue his plans to file case against Lea Salonga, Aiza Seguerra, Agot Isidro, Leah Navarro, Mylene Dizon, Bianca Gonzales, Tuesday Vargas, K Brosas and Jim Paredes.
“Alam n’yo, ganun talaga ang buhay,” Revillame said. “Ang masama lang, humuhusga sila na hindi pa nila alam ang kabuuan, ang istorya.
“E, paano kami magtutulung-tulungan kung ganyan—hati, hindi ho ba? Tsaka masama ho yata yung ganung naghuhusga ka sa kapwa mo na hindi mo pa alam ang totoo.”
The issue started last week during Revillame’s announcement that Willing Willie will go off air for two weeks.
Revillame said, “Nakagawa ba kayo ng tulong? Anong nagawa nyo? Nagbigay ba kayo sa Bantay Bata ng 1 million? Ung mga taong yan winasak ang pangalan ko sa Twitter!”
Some of these celebrities tweet back and posted their responses on social networking site.
“How can a laos, old, over the hill guy like me destroy a sikat, powerful, rich Superstar like Willie? He did it all by himself.”
“Good nyt people. Let the turmoil of the world be overcome by peaceful darkness.”
Aiza Seguerra :
“Sa mga sumusuporta, salamat po.”
“Anyareeeee??!! Daming tweets nabasa ko about willing willie?! Galit sa akin at sa iba pang mga artista?! Sensya di ko napanood.”
“Ako ay nagbigay ng OPINION ko…wala akong siniraan at binanggit na name….pwedeng basahin uli mga tweets ko, never ako nagbura! Peace! ”
“Ang daming problema sa mundo, mga trahedya, gera etc…dun ako affected…demanda dahil sa opinion?? Wait na lng natin kung mangyayari yon:)”
“pack up! now ko lang nabasa lahat ng tweets. In light of this uproar, I will remain tolerant and silent.”
“Thank you for the outpouring of support. I am A-ok! Don’t worry about me. Dun lang tayo sa tama.”
“i learned a lot on twitter tonight! difference between an informed and uninformed opinion. ”
“i really believe that what a person says or writes is a reflection of the kind of person he or she is. ”
“I will not be bullied. I will not threatened. Sticks and stones may break my bones but your words will never hurt me.”
“Just got bombarded by a slew of tweets. To those who tweeted kind words of support, thanks. Much appreciated. And last I checked…”
“… it’s actually a right of every person in this country to express an opinion, good or bad. We live in a democracy, and I’m grateful.”
“And that is all I’m going to say. Nothing incendiary will be coming from me. No need for it.”
“There are insults being hurled in our direction, but eh. That’s life.”
“He’s entitled to express himself however he sees fit. As I said, democracy.”
Last night, Willie Revillame also announced that his show Willing Willie will go off air for two weeks starting Monday (April 11).
