Northern Japan was hit by 7.3 magnitude earthquake on Tuesday, November 22, and a tsunami warning has been issued.
According to US Geological Survey, the epicentre of the quake was 67km off the coast of Fukushima prefecture at a depth of about 10 km (6 miles). It was also felt in the capital Tokyo.

No immediate reports of damage or injuries after it struck at 5:59am.
