Matthew May, the father of former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Bailey May, performed his version of ‘May Bukas Pa’ by Rico Puno on ABS-CBN newest singing competition ‘I Love OPM’ on Saturday, February, 27.

The British aspiring singer impressed the three judges and earned a standing ovation from Toni Gonzaga and Martin Nievera after his performance.
“You have a powerful voice. It’s like there’s another singer there and you swallowed him, and then you gave him to us. What a beautiful tool you have, you should keep singing. I think you should be a singer no matter what happens here tonight,” said Nievera.
He eventually received the approval of the judges which made him moved to the next round of the compeetition.
