International singer and award winning theater actress Lea Salonga is reportedly chosen by ABS-CBN Network to host the Philippine version of the hit reality show in the U.S. “The Voice.”

According to report, Salonga will be joined by another popular singer in the country, Zsa Zsa Padilla, as one of the four coaches of the said show.

Earlier reports said, Robi Domingo, Toni Gonzaga and the Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo are in the running to become the host of the show.

The Voice of the Philippines” started it’s auditions last September in parts of the United States, including Santa Clara and Los Angeles in California.

The US version has Carson Daly as host and coaches Christina Aguilera, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, soul and R&B singer Cee Lo Green, and country musician Blake Shelton.

The third season of “The Voice” in the U.S. airs every Mon-Tue (Tue-Wed in Manila) via NBC.
