JUST IN: Cyrus Villanueva Makes it to the ‘X Factor Australia 2015’ Top 12

Filipino-Australian singer Cyrus Villanueva performed his version of Bob Marley’s “Is This Love” in front of his mentor Chris Isaak and guest judges Simon Cowell and Rita Ora during the The X Factor Australia 2015 ‘Home Visits’.

The new format kicked off on Sunday night’s episode of the ‘X Factor Australia,’ with Isaak announced as the coach for the under 25 boys’ category and left to fill his five seats from 12 singers, leaving some of the boys in tears.

The Pinoy singer based in Australia is one of Isaak’s Top 5 Boys vying for the Top 3 and will have a chance to perform on the show’s first live show.

Villanueva first caught the attention of the viewerswhen he performed The Weeknd’s “Earned It” for his audition piece.

He then put on an amazing version of Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own,” which earned him a slot in the five-seat musical chair challenge of the competition.
