Celebrity couple Heart Evangelista and Brapanese model actor Daniel Matsunaga has finally ended their two-year relationship.

In a telephone interview by Yahoo OMG!, Heart’s mom Cecille Ongpauco confirmed the break-up: “Yes, she’s single. But I’d rather Heart not talk to media about it. It’s a private matter.”

Heart tweeted the same day after her mom’s interview, she said: “Being single is embracing growth,” followed up with, “breakups don’t always mean the other one was bad or we didn’t love each other it could just be… we were too different.”

Meanwhile, Daniel also expressed his feeling on his official twitter account: “just asking God ….why? i tried.” Followed by another message, “cant be happy at this moment guys…God bless u all…thanks for the words….i am sure u all know what is happening….:(”
