Mackie Empuerto, from San Juan City, is still the defending champion of It’s Showtime’s singing competition “Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids.”
In an episode aired Thursday, Empuerto defend his title for the second time after performing his own version of “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri.
The judges gave him a total of 95.8 percent, defeating three other contenders Precious Camille Matibag, Glein Olarte, and Alex Noleal.
Empuerto will return on Friday to defend his third win on Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids.
