WATCH: Lilli Passero Sings “A Love Of My Own” on The Voice 2017 Blind Auditions


Lilli Passero, a Los Angeles native with an old soul shows off her throwback vocal stylings, during the second episode of The Voice Season 12.

In an episode aired Tuesday night, the 26-year-old Studio City, California, waitress earned a three-chair turn with her version of Carla Thomas’ “A Love of My Own.”

“There’s some classic about her. Will you please pick me,” said Blake Shelton who turned first for Lilli.

“That was soulful. There’s simplicity, emotional…I would loved to just explore that world with you even more,” said Alicia Keys.

When it’s time to pick her coach, Alicia serenade by singing the song back to her and injecting her name into the lyrics.

“I had to choose Alicia,” the aspiring Los Angeles singer said. “She sang the song!”

The Voice Season 12 airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8/7c only on NBC. The Voice is also available to watch via NBC’s official live streaming channel.
