During the final round of competition held at ABS-CBN Studio, the four finalists entered the last leg of their The Voice journey – singing a power ballad.
This was the final leg of competition, which included 3 challenges: the upbeat and duet with their respective coaches. The first two performances were aired on Saturday, July 29.
Last night, Jona earned praises from other coaches for her duet performance with Sarah Geronimo. Both Jona and Sarah received a standing ovation for belting out “Better Days,” a song popularized by Dianne Reeves in 1992.
Broadway star Lea Salonga even called her performance ‘malupet’ after her upbeat cover of “Just Dance” by Lady Gaga.
As the first grand winner, the youngest singer of the competition will take home 1M cash prize, a house and lot, a recording contract, a fashion package, a business package, a dental package and a lot more.
