WATCH: Jona Soquite Duet with Sarah Geronimo “Better Days,” Also Sings “Just Dance” on The Voice Teens Philippines Grand Finals


Jona Soquite, the youngest contestant at 13, performed a duet with her coach Sarah Geronimo on The Voice Teens Philippines Grand Finals.

During the live episode aired Saturday, July 29, Jona and Saah performed their own version of Better Days,” a song popularized by Dianne Reeves in 1992.

“Great song choice. I enjoyed watching this,” said coach Bamboo Manalac. “Jona, you have a clean delivery while performing and that’s your strength,” he added.

“That was MALUPET!,” exclaimed Lea Salonga. “You came to play and that was awesome,” she added.

Aside from the duet, each of the top four artists were also tasked to perform an upbeat cover, then on Sunday, a power ballad.

The Voice Teens Philippines is reality singing television competition for teens that airs on ABS-CBN. It is based on the Dutch reality singing competition of the same name. The coaches of the show is composed of Lea Salonga, Bamboo MaƱalac, Sarah Geronimo and Sharon Cuneta.

Grand winner will be revealed on Sunday, July 30,2017.
