Francis Concepcion Jr. remains the defending champion of It’s Showtime’s singing competition “Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids.”
On Saturday, May 13, Francis defeated daily winner John Alfred Basa from Metro Manila with his performance of “Because Of You” by American singer Kelly Clarkson.
After the judges deliberation, Concepcion received a total average of 95.2 percent, while Basa received 91.0 percent for singing “Win The Fight” by Ylona Garcia.
On Friday, Francis wowed the audience for singing his own version of Lani Misalucha’s hit “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin.” Watch the full video of his performance here.
Francis took home a total of P80,000 and will return on Tawag Ng Tanghalan stage on Monday to defend his fourth win.
