Francis Concepcion Jr. from Zamboanga was named new defending champion of It’s Showtime’s singing competition “Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids.”
On Thursday, May 11, Concepcion defeated one-time defending champ Clyde Vance Lomotos from Cebu City with his performance of “Alone” and “Chandelier” as popularized by Sia.
The 10-year-old talented young singer impressed the audience as well as the judges for his performance.
He received the highest score with 96.2 percent, while Clyde with 90.2 percent for singing “Cold Water.”
Concepcion will return on Tawag Ng Tanghalan stage on Friday to defend his second win.
