Filipino-American Anatalia Villaranda is advancing to the live playoffs of The Voice US after surviving the knockout rounds on Tuesday, April 4. 2017.
Anatalia chose to perform her own version of Carrie Underwood’s “Two Black Cadillacs,” her opponent Dawson Coyle sang “Demons” by Imagine Dragons.
Eventually, Alicia Keys picked Anatalia as the winner, moving on to the live playoffs. Alicia said that Anatalia surprised her, “You surprise me again with that song choice. You keep evolving and showing all side of who you are.”
“Both of you are so good and powerful, and the winner is Anatalia,” Alicia added.
The 16-year-old Anatalia will represent Team Alicia in the live playoffs of The Voice.
