Kriesha Tiu, a 17-year-old Filipina contestant wowed the judges and audience for her talent in a Korean television reality show.
Tiu, also known as Chrisha Choo from Cebu, sang “I Don’t Love You” by Urban Zakapa and danced to Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend” for her audition for “K-Pop Star 6.”
The judges, YG Entertainment’s Yang Hyun-suk, JYP Entertainment’s Park Jin-young, and Antenna Music’s You Hee-yeol, were all amazed with the Filipina teen performance.
“I thought I wanted to bring her to my talent agency right away,” Yang said. “She’s not only pretty, but she has great dance skills. For her age and the ability to make good facial expressions. I’d like to give her a high score. She chose a Korean song. I want to give her extra 10 points for that. I want to give her another 10 points for her Korean ability. I think it’s a yes for me,” he added.
