WATCH: Chris Blue Great Cover of ‘Rhythm Nation’ on The Voice Season 12 Finals

Chris Blue wowed the audience with his cover of Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation” on The Voice Season 12 finals on Monday night, May 22, 2017.

After his performance, his coach Alicia Keys praised his performance. “You can come out and do one of the most iconic songs of all time, and you can handle it,” said Keys.

During rehearsals, the Knoxville worship leader said: “This song will embody everything that I am musically,” said Blue. “I just need to have fun, and make sure when I walk off stage, I leave everything I have right there.”

This week’s finale show will feature celebrity guest performances – Miley Cyrus, Chris Stapleton, Zedd and Alessia Cara, CeeLo Green, Little Big Town and special performances from the judges before the announcement of the results and crowning of the winner.

During the final rounds of the competition, the finalists perform in front of the four coaches. At the end of the show, one of them will be named “The Voice.”

Competing for this season’s crown are Lauren Duski (Team Blake Shelton), Chris Blue (Team Alicia Keys), Jesse Larson (Team Adam Levine), and Aliyah Moulden (Team Blake).
