Manny Pacquiao will defend his WBO Welterweight Championship title against Huntington New York’s undefeated WBO Light Welterweight Champion, Chris Algieri, on November 23, Sunday, at the Venetian Macao’s Cotai Arena, airing at 8am (Philippine Standard Time), November 22, Saturday (US Time).

Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2) will defend his WBO welterweight title Saturday night. Pacquiao has won three of his past five fights. While his opponent, Chris Algieri, 30, has yet to lose in his professional career, compiling a 20-0 record with eight knockouts.

What to expect in Pacquiao vs Algieri boxing fight?

According to the analysis of US boxing website Badlefthook, Algieri is ready to win the fight, as he has done every time out thus far in his pro career. The former kickboxing champion scored two career-best wins this year over Emmanuel Taylor and Ruslan Provodnikov, and now looks to make an argument for himself as the Fighter of the Year.

While Pacquiao was his usual soft-spoken self, thanking sponsors, promoters, his team, his trainer, his opponent, that team, and his sparring partners, this time Viktor Postol, Mike Jones, and Jose Ramirez.

“The 35-year-old Pacquiao is the favorite for the fight, and expects to come out victorious once again,” the statement said.

Before the main card fight, there will be 8 undercard fights featuring boxers from different countries.
