Vice President Leni Robredo took her oath of office as Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) chief on Tuesday, July 12, 2016.

The oath-taking ceremony was administered by President Rodrigo Duterte at Malacanang’s Sala around 6 p.m. It was witnessed by her three daughters, Aika, Tricia, and Jillian.
Duterte offered the cabinet post to Robredo last July 7, via a phone call in the middle of a pre-recorded press briefing.
