Vice President Leni Robredo on Monday, July 4, paid a courtesy call on President Rodrigo Roa Duterte in Malacanang.

The video of their meeting, which took around 3 p.m., was posted on the Facebook page of the Presidential Broadcast Staff Radio-Television Malacanang (RTVM).
After the meeting, the president even escorted Robredo as she walked out of Malacanang towards her vehicle.
Meanwhile, Robredo said in a media interview Monday morning, “Ako po bilang pangalawang pangulo, I believe that the number one responsibility now is to help rally everyone behind the new administration. This administration deserves our support.”
“Hindi naman po ito para kay President Duterte lamang pero para ito sa sambayanang Pilipinas,” she added.
Last weekend, Robredo and Duterte had their first meeting at Camp Aguinaldo for the turnover ceremonies of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
