Watch: Tinio Cries With President Duterte’s Illegal Drugs Accusation

Former Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Chief Superintendent Edgardo Tinio turned emotional during his interview with ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol on Wednesday.

Tinio said he never engaged in any illegal drug activity and he is willing to face the President to clear his name.

He also said that he is willing to undergo on investigation and a lie detector test.

“I am more than willing to undergo an investigation and a lie detector test, to face my accuser and face the President. I can see him eye to eye and tell him not involved in any shenanigans and nefarious activities,” he said.

Tinio said he was shocked when President Rodrigo Duterte dropped his name, along with four other PNP generals, in his speech earlier at the Philippine Air Force anniversary in Clark, Pampanga.

Tinio said he would opt to retire early from police service.
