Senator Leila De Lima walkout for the second time during the Senate’s hearing on the drug-related killings under the Duterte administration on Monday, October 3, 2016.
De Lima and Senate Committee on Justice and Human Rights Sen. Richard Gordon went head to head over information on a kidnapping case filed against star witness Edgar Matobato. The heated argument made De Lima’s exit during the proceedings.
“It pains me to be accused of material concealment. I am walking out, I’m sorry,” the lady senator said before walking.
De Lima also walked out of the session hall during Senator Alan Peter Cayetano’s privilege speech on Monday, September 19.
