President Rodrigo Duterte meet the former Presidents of the Philippines in Malacanang on Wednesday, July 27, 2016.
For the first time, former Pres. Fidel Ramos, Joseph Estrada, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and Benigno Aquino III sit together at National Security Council meeting led by President Duterte.
The big five gathered together in one room to discuss policy and chart a course for the future of the country.
The Duterte administration said that an overview of the road map for peace and development shall be presented in the first council meeting. The council will also be given an update on the government’s campaign against illegal drugs.
