Paris Attacks News and Updates: At Least 118 Died at the Bataclan Concert Hall in Central Paris






Police authorities in Paris are reporting that at least 118 people were killed on Friday after several explosions and shootings.

According to BBC, the incident happened during rock group Eagles of Death Metal concert in Bataclan concert hall in Central Paris. Unconfirmed reports said concert-goers were being shot one by one while others died in a reported suicide blast near the Stade de France and gun attacks on city centre restaurants.

Pray-For-Paris

France president Francois Hollande called the it an “unprecedented terrorist attack – a horror.” He also declared a State of Emergency and urged that France’s borders be shut down.

US President Barack Obama also condemned the attacks, which he called “heartbreaking,” in a nationally television address from the White House.

“This isn’t just an attack on France. … It’s an attack on all of humanity,” he said.
