Celia Veloso, mother of drug convict Mary Jane, says sorry to the public for bashing the Aquino administration over its handling of her daughter in Indonesia. She appeals to the public for understanding, saying what her family is going through is not easy.

Last week, Celia together with her family returned to the country and criticized the Aquino government for grabbing credit for her daughter’s reprieve. “Now that we’re back in the Philippines, we will be going after the government who up to the end tried to fool us,” Celia said.

“They told the public that it was Aquino who saved my daughter’s life. That’s not true,” she added.
