The Twittter account of Maine Mendoza, popularly known as ‘Yaya Dub‘ of the ‘AlDub‘ love team from Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye, was hacked on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
A tweet on Maine’s account from hackers claiming to be from Anonymous Philippines read:
The hacker calling itself Anonymous Philippines admitted the attack. They are popular in hacking government websites to help advance their advocacies and other internet issues.
The group has not revealed why they chose to hack Maine’s account and as of 5 a.m. November 3, 2015, Anonymous Philippines has not returned Maine Mendoza’s Twitter account to its rightful owner.
Meanwhile, we also learned that Lola Nidora’s Twitter account was also hacked by the same group.
