The Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) head Eduardo Manalo has announced that his own mother and brother will be expelled from the church on Thursday, July 23, 2015.
Tenny, the widow of INC former executive minister Eraño “Erdy” Manalo, and son Angel recently released a 1-minute 54-second video asking for help, saying that their lives are in danger.
INC General Evangelist Bienvenido Santiago announced the expulsion of Angel and Tenny in a news conference this morning. He also denied the claims of Angel and Tenny in the Youtube video.
“While this is painful for Brother Eduardo Manalo, they decided to expel those creating divisions in the Church. In the worship services of the Iglesia ni Cristo starting today, we will be announcing this to our brethren,” he said.
Santiago did not confirm if there is a conflict within the Manalo family but revealed that Tenny, Angel and Eduardo have not yet talked to each other.
