Alden is the third Filipino singer to make it in the history of Billboard survey. Jaya was the first Filipino to make it to the Billboard chart to No. 44 of the US Dance Charts on February 3, 1990 with her song “If You Leave Me Now.”

In 2010, Charice Pempengco was the second Filipino to enter the US chart with her self-titled album “Charice” at No. 8. Her single “Pyramid” from the same album reached No. 1 on Billboard Dance Club chart and No. 8 in the Hot 100 chart.

Alden is set to release his second album under GMA Records this October and has been promoting the album’s single “Wish I May.”

GMA Records has decided to include Bryan White original “God Gave Me You,” the theme song of Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye, in the album. Watch and listen to Alden’s emotional version here.
