WATCH: PH Nicole Cordoves Gets Booed For Choosing Trump Over Clinton in Miss Grand International Q&A

Philippine bet Nicole Cordoves was booed by some of the audience during the final question and answer of Miss Grand International 2016 Final Show at the Westgate International Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on Tuesday, October 25, 2016.

Each of the Top 5 candidates was asked to choose between US presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton for help in stopping war and violence.

The 24-year-old Pinay beauty queen said she would choose Trump because “if we choose him to switch to our side, there won’t be war and violence anymore.”

“I will also make sure that he will read my speeches to stop the war and violence because imagine someone who would bring so much madness and so much emotion to these people, what if we use his voice to actually do good for the world? What if we use that for our advantage?” she said.

“Let’s keep the peace and let Donald Trump switch to our side to stop the war and violence,” she ended.

Miss USA Michelle León was also booed for choosing Trump. Puerto Rico, Thailand and Indonesia picked Clinton and earned praises from the audience.

Cordoves finished first runner-up while Indonesia’s Ariska Putri Pertiwi was crowned as this year’s winner of Miss Grand International pageant.
