Miss International 2016, the 56th Miss International pageant, will be held on Wednesday October 27, 2016 live at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
This year, there are 70 candidates competing for the 56th Miss International pageant. Edymar Martínez from Venezuela will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Contestants are expected to serve as the ambassadors of peace and beauty demonstrating tenderness, benevolence, friendship, beauty, intelligence, ability to take action, and a great international sensibility.
